objectives:
I- ovary and testis
the students should be able to describe the histological structure of testis and ovary
the student should be able to correlate the structure with the function
ii- staining
the students should be able to
1- enumerate the different staining.
2- enumerate the staining procedures in preparation and staining of tissue with hematoxyllin and eosin.
3- the importance of the different staining.
Iii- cells
1- the students should be able to describe the ultra structure of the cell membrane, cell organelles and nucleus.
Iv- epithelial/ connective and nervous tissue
the students should be able to:
1- enumerate the different classification of each
2- describe the basis of classifications of tissues
3- compare and contrast the different classes of each tissue
4- correlate the structure with the function of each tissue
v- gland
the students should describe the basis for classification of glandular structure
vi- cell division
the students should be able to:
1- describe the different stages of cell division
2- compare and contrast between meiotic and mitotic cell division
3- give examples of each
